Tagged: There Has Never Been One Person Who Did Not Like Watermelon

Today was the fourth of July, which means that we got to throw tea in the ocean and invent the electric kite.

We celebrated by doing quintessentially American things, like running lawnmowers for no real reason.

Needless to say, Dad took the opportunity to take pictures of unimportant stuff.

Dad also took this photo of me telling Grace that everybody loves watermelon.

Hey, Dad, there's some unimportant stuff over there that wants to be photographed.

Dad shot this with the 85 plus 1.4x TC plus 36-mm tube. He calls it the Flower Cannon.

He needs to get out more.

My big sister Riley and I went to Zach's Happy Day party today.

There was ice cream cake.

Riley was more interested in watermelon, of course.

She also liked the balloons ...

... but mostly it was the watermelon.

She also got to play with other kids' toys.

Dad wandered around doing this, with a Nikon lens on his Canon camera.

Riley got to play Pin the Tail on the Donkey for the first time.

Bullseye!

She glowed with donkey pride.

You know what I think of Happy Day parties?

I think they are EXXXXXCELLLLLENTTTT!

Riley must think it's strange when I do my EXXXXXCELLLLLENTTTT pose, but really, she is the one wearing Pengit Boots in June.

See?

Dad is out of control.
