Zoe’s twenty-third word is “Rhamphorhynchus,”* so we headed off to Science to see some dino bones.

*Not true.
Dad, cubs, and Haley, who shot all these photos and very briefly considered sharing my popsicle before declining politely.
Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Yes, yes, I have checked in with Mission Control.

This interactive experience could have been a little less frustrating.

Even so, we put forth a reasonable effort in docking the shuttle.

Earth is, as I told dad today, not far from us.

Zoe really, really likes the Discovery Zone.

I really, really like the piano they have there.

Little sis is cute.

C’mon, croc! This platypus is not going to attack itself.

I like to write my own name on my art these days.*

*It’s the thought that counts.

This is just awesome.

Strut strut strut.

Zoe ate lunch with a minimum of two forks today.

Dad marveled at my hands-on eating technique.

Ayep.

CRUST!

Zoe taught dad the correct way to use a fork as a rake.

You probably have never seen my sleep-eating technique before.

It works.

Morning!

Grandma Marianne made me this headband.

Morning!

Dad got me a popsicle and was smart enough (this week) not to take a bite and drive me completely insane.

It tastes …

… pink!

Zoe has not yet taught dad the correct way to eat a popsicle.

The other people in the cafeteria felt bad for him.

At one point, he had to ask for help.

I pretended I didn’t know him.

Dad says his strong legs, trim waist, and Zoe-assisted impressive height make this photo a keeper.*

*Dad has none of these things in real life.

This was right before dad could feel Zoe peeing on his neck.

Ayep.

This was on the way home, right after I said “I’m not tired!”

We went to the Dinosaur Bones Place* yesterday.

Riley copied my slide style.

Since she knows how to walk, she also did other stuff.

There’s this really cool exhibit where you run on a path and it records your every move.

Here you can see Riley and Riley surrounding Dad as he runs like a monkey. (You will not see this anywhere else in the world.)

DINOSAUR BONES!

Riley knows how to use touchscreens …

… so she did some of that too.

I, on the other hand, showed off my gator-rasslin’ skills.

Riley tried being a TOLOGIST* for a few minutes.

*Paleontologist
