Dad took me down to the lake today.

I like to say hello to the geese ("BIRDIE BIRDIE BIRDIE BIRDIE!") and offer them things I find on the ground.

I also like to do a little Vegan Fishing (you just eat the stick at the end of the day), but dad took me home when I wouldn't stop putting my feet into the water.

If I don't fill up on sticks, Zack is happy to share his Oreos with me.

I guess security at these places is pretty lightweight. Mom and Dad were able to get me into a real sushi restaurant!

Do you think the waitstaff had any idea what they were in for?

I LOVE SUSHI!

We got some kind of teriyaki dish too.

Actually, mom ordered herself the teriyaki, and she got me some noodles off the kids' menu, but I made her switch with me.

I know what I'm doing in these places. We don't need to get all pedestrian on my account.

For example, these are chopsticks, mmkay?

Mine came with this nifty rubberband up top.

I don't need it there, but it's nice that they wanted to be helpful.

This is an example of what chopsticks are not meant to do.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how I roll.

See?

Sometimes you do just have to toss back a noodle or two with the tools you were born with.

Mom tried to pass off the kids' menu noodles to Zoe, but Zoe knew better.

Mom and dad introduced me to "caterpillar rolls" today.

No caterpillars were harmed in the making of this maki.

Eh? Did you see what I did there? Thank you. I'll be here all week. Tip your server well. I know Mom and Dad sure did.

Greetings! It has been a while.

Since we last met, I have begun to wear overalls.

Dad says a square-state baby must dress the part.

I also tend to pose like this--and in other ways that seem to indicate interest in what my parents say.

What's that you say over there?

Riley's making sushi again?

One tobikko, please!

(I may be from a square state, but I know what I like.)

Thanks, Big Sis!

As soon as my teeth come in, I'm all over that thing.

Sit! Sit there!

That is something I say now.

I try to be an excellent host when possible.

I even make sushi for my farm animals.

Mrs. Pigglesworth gets cranky if she doesn't get her futomaki.

That dog can eat more wasabi than I can.

After sushi-slopping the pigs, I like to go outside and play with bubbles.

BUBBLES!

Then I wander around the neighborhood and steal rocks.

Dad tells me not to, but I pretend I don't understand him.

This is Grace, my friend down the block. She has the only kitty who doesn't run away from me. (Hi, Simone!)
