You are not seeing double!

We play like this a lot now, but only today has it been captured in pixels.

MWAH!

(Am I the best big sister ever or what?)

REINFORCEMENT MWAH!

I forgot that Zoe doesn't like toddler kisses--and Dad has been teaching her both standup (sit-up?) techniques and some ground work.

Toddler toss!

This is Zoe's "Where do you think YOU'RE going?" look.

Aaaargh!

Zoe goes for the pin!

Ba ha ha ha ha!

No, seriously, don't cross Zoe.

Stuffed doggie!

Zoe and I like to read together sometimes.

I used to read these books when I was a kid.

Good times.

Sometimes I practice reading to my zoo animals instead of Zoe, since the zoo animals aren't experts in submission grappling.

So THAT'S the difference between a chicken and a duck, guys.

It's all explained right here.

Hey Klondike--you listening?

It's hard to teach old bears new tricks.

Right?

Dad set out to capture Zoe's ample adiposity before she levels out.

Zoe can't wait to level out.

The appetite is still there, though.

Uh oh.

More next week! Let's be careful out there!

They were very welcoming at the hospital.

Even so, I was less than enthusiastic about being there--at least when I first arrived. This is right after Dad cut my cord, which hardly seemed fair.

I settled in pretty quickly, though.

I developed an immediate attachment with the nice lady in the hospital gown.

I showed her my scratching skills ...

... and my kung fu grip.

Pretty soon after that, I met my big sister, Riley.

Riley already has a baby of her own, so she knows how to handle me. Mom and Dad still had Tia Peggy hold me, though.

While visiting the hospital, Riley gave everyone lessons on infant seat safety.

Her expertise is undeniable.

Auntie Liz held me while Riley said hello.

I'm enjoying my first bath here.

All clean and bundled up! Want to know how content I am now?

Pttthhhhppbbbtt!!!

So there.

Dad has slept 12 minutes in the last four days, but he tried to work in at least one "well done" photo of me before collapsing on the floor.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with getting my rest when I feel like it.
