April, 2009 Archives

My big sister likes to check in on me when I'm sleeping. She's just making sure I'm OK.

Mom and dad got Riley a small Pack and Play for her own baby. Riley found other uses for it. Sorry, baby!

We went for a walk around the block yesterday. Aaron and Simon came too.

Murray the dog joined us.

Simon made sure that the basketball was very safe. Even so, I was glad that Mom was walking me in my own stroller at the end of the line.

Riley certainly had a great time.

She laughs at anything Simon does, even though she's the one walking a basketball around the block.

I slept through the whole thing.

My neighbor friend Simon let me play with his drum kit.

It seemed only fair to show him a thing or two.

It's incredibly easy to play the drums really well. You just pick up the stick ...

... and whack it down on one of the drums.

Bam!

Sometimes you want to mix in a cymbal just to keep things interesting.

Whack!

Seriously, if these things were any easier, they'd play themselves.

How you like me now, Simon?

Once I can reach the pedals, this game is over!

Good times....

Dad finally took out his magic Umbrella of Light to take my picture.

I had other plans, though. ZzzzzzZzzzzzz ...

Riley's friend Osa was much more cooperative.

I sleep a whole lot

En garde!

I, Z-Bear, am working on my fencing pose.

It is both amusing and developmentally correct for my age.

If I had a foil, you'd be in a world of trouble right now.
