February, 2008 Archives

Dad decided to use just window light and his trusty “dog lens” today.

Our first few photos have a distinctly old-fashioned-film feel …

… as you can clearly see.

This is me looking for my pig. (Don’t worry. I found it.)

I play two pianos at once now. It’s like those guys in the prog-rock bands who have about ten keyboards all stacked up. It’s exactly like that.

The camera on mom’s cell phone is all blurry now. I have no idea why.

Stop looking at me like that!

This is my “pre-pensive” look. I like to use it right before …

I get really pensive.

I am ever so pensive.

I am practically in a trance here, what with all this pensivity.

What can I say? I’m surprisingly thoughtful for a 9-month-old, 13lbs 15 oz, 26.5-inch-tall baby.

See what I did there? One must blog one’s stats.

It’s a shame they don’t measure eyelashes.

Natural light and "dog lens"

After months and months of asking and waiting, I finally got some wheels. Thanks, Eric and Emily!

This is how I roll.

My parents set my wagon aside for weeks, making all sorts of excuses about how I don’t know how to drive (or “walk”), how adding me to their policy would raise their rates, and how really I’m just nine months old. Can you believe it?

Ba ha ha ha!

Mom insists that I mention that the wheels were blocked for today’s photo opportunity.

Wagon… won’t… move… no matter… how hard… I… push…

Enough of that. I’m exhausted.

The wagoneer has become the wagonee!

This thing gets fantastic mileage.

Finally, transportation

My parents put this gigantic image of me on the wall.

I got accustomed to it pretty quickly.

Now I do most of my light reading right here in the hallway.

This is probably not normal

I got to play with my friend Noah today.

Mwah!

Dad took a couple of Noah by himself.

I had gone out to the store for magazines and seltzer, so I didn’t mind.

Noah came over today
